Muggle Wonders

Summary: The television can be an amazing thing; Rapunzel and Cassie acknowledge that though they're out of school, they still have things to learn.

Author's Note: A totally AU and theoritical future for Punzie and Cassie in Sorting Hat Roleplay. I just like the idea of them living together and getting through life together. I also wanted to try writing something light for them.

“What?”
“You know. Recorded it. I… I made it save, like, with the computer? But onto the tv.”
“…That’s brilliant.”
“No!” Rapunzel beamed and leaned forward, staring eagerly at the tv. “There’s so much it can do!”
Cassie smiled softly, playing with some of Rapunzel’s hair that had fallen onto her lap. “Mmmm. It is pretty nice.”
“I like it,” Rapunzel said, meaning she loved it. But she knew Cassie thought liking something meant more than loving it, in a sense.
“I’m glad.” Cassie began braiding Rapunzel’s hair. “You’re lucky, I think. You still have so much to discover.”
“Don’t you?”
“…I suppose. I mean, yes, totally. But not things like this. Other things. Things that are harder to learn.”
“You know more than you think, I think.”
“Thanks, Punzie.”
“We’ll learn the hard stuff together.”
Cassie hesitated, then shook her head. “It’s different stuff.”
“We can still help each other,” Rapunzel insisted. Her girlfriend regarded her uncertainly for a moment, then slowly gave a wide, toothy grin.
“Yeah. We can.”

Cassie looked over at Rapunzel and nodded, adjusting her hold on the arm of the couch. “Yeah. I recorded it.”
“What?”
